Different Dimension Wanderlust Collection for Fall 2016 [Swatch] & [Review]

Friday! Are you guys ready for the weekend?!

I'm ready to show you some spectacular Fall holos that release today! Specifically, the Different Dimension Wanderlust collection for Fall 2016! This is a collection of six holos in beautiful Fall hues- most with other added shimmers. There are also four new cuticle oil scents, which I'll show you at the end!

First, some bottle goodness for gawking purposes!

L to R: Numinous, Resfeber, Novaturient, Peregrination, Fernweh, Nefelibata

Isn't that a delicious color palette? Let's get to the swatches, shall we?

First up, here is Different Dimension- Nefelibata, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Nefelibata: A cloud walker; One who lives in the cloud of their own imagination or dreams.

Nefelibata is a sky blue holographic with strong yellow-gold shimmers. Very icy and Wintry, if you ask me! I loved it on my skin! It's also the exact color of my yoga mat (minus the gold shimmer, haha!), which is pretty cool!

Formula: It's got a great medium-thick viscosity, and applies creamily. I found it very easy to control, and you can actually manipulate the opacity very well with this polish. By loading the brush less or pressing harder on the nail, you can get a pretty sheer coat; or, by loading up more polish and pressing down less, you can have a thicker coat which works just as well. It's very flexible, and will suit many different application styles. Opaque in two easy coats for me!

Next, here's Different Dimension- Fernweh, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Fernweh: Literally "farsickness" or "longing for far-off places."

Fernweh is an Army-green linear holographic with yellow-golden shimmers.

Formula: It has a nice medium viscosity, and smooths over the nail easily, self-leveling. Great coverage at one coat with just slight sheerness at the nail tips. It dries down quickly, and is perfectly opaque in two easy coats- very, very nice!
--

Now, here is Different Dimension- Peregrination, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Peregrination: A course of travel; journey.

Peregrination is a goldenrod yellow holographic with salmon-pink shimmers. Kind of a mustard-yellow goldenrod, and not particularly flattering on me personally, but this is definitely a unique shade. The pinkish shimmer is so nice!

Formula: It's very similar to Fernweh: medium viscosity, easy to manipulate, self-leveling. It's slightly sheerer just due to being a lighter color, but builds well, and is easily opaque in two coats! Nice!
--

Next up, here is Different Dimension- Novaturient, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Novaturient: Desiring change in one's life.

Novaturient is a darker caramel linear holographic. This is a very warm-toned brown, and I think there may be some light gold-ish or bronze shimmer in there too.

Formula: Oh, wow- this one is excellent! It's the most pigmented so far, and is, in fact, opaque in one coat! I couldn't help myself, and used two for swatches, but the pigmentation is so perfect. And, it's creamy, easy to control...and just perfect, pretty much! A+!
--

This one is Different Dimension- Resfeber, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Resfeber: The restless race of the traveler's heart before the journey begins

Resfeber is a vibrant scarlet holographic with some gold/magenta color-shifting (I think) shimmers. This is obviously gorgeous!

Formula: It's very similar to the others- maybe not as crazily pigmented as Novaturient, but still easily opaque in two coats. Creamy, easy to apply, nothing much else to say!
--

Finally, here's Different Dimension- Numinous, [artificial light/ two coats]:

Numinous: Appealing to the higher emotions or to the aesthetic sense.

Numinous is an eggplant purple linear holographic with gold/magenta shimmers. I wasn't so intrigued by this one in the bottle, but boy, once I got it on my nails...it's way prettier than expected! Love!

Formula: It's got a lovely medium texture, is easy to apply, and almost opaque on the first coat. Really nice formula overall- opaque in two coats!

New Cuticle Oil Scents!
Different Dimension is also releasing four new scents for their amazing cuticle oils with this collection! They will be available in both pen form (2.7 mL), as well as dropper (15 mL) sizes- and  also the new sample sizes.

Drift:
Ripe black raspberries are mixed with dark plum & warm vanilla.
Discover:
A fresh & feminine fruity blend of mango and strawberries with grapefruit, freesia, amber, & tonka bean.
Journey:
Notes of pink amber and vanilla wrap around blushed orchid & jasmine petals.
Explore:
Fresh pumpkin blended with orange peel, sweet carrot, ground cinnamon, clove bud, nutmeg, & vanilla cream.

It's very hard to pick a favorite scent from these four, but I kind of love Discover...I really get the strawberry note, and I also love Journey for the jasmine! (That one has a much darker, almost cologne-like fragrance.) Explore is your seasonal, foody pumpkin spice-esque scent for all those PSL people! (Ew, I just said PSL! I don't even drink them, ftr.)

And, a little brushporn shot, because why not??

I love these oil pens, and have reviewed several from the Mythical & Magical Release in my last couple of Empties posts!

Overall, this collection has a color palette that's pretty killer taken as a whole! Really beautiful! There are several shades like Resfeber, Numinous, and Fernweh that hit that nice Fall jewel tones sweet spot; there are others that keep it a little wonderfully weird, like Peregrination and Novaturient, which is a very warm, earthy brown (not sure I have another like it, actually!) I'm also loving the extra shimmers these have that keep them from being straightforward holographics! Also, in a sea of nail polish puns, these have refreshingly descriptive, intriguing names that help unify the Wanderlust theme! (Some of that vocab I knew, but I did learn a thing or two!)

Formula-wise all were excellent. I have not one complaint, and am so impressed by the consistency across the board of the rich, pigmented formulas!

My favorites are Resfeber, Numinous, and Fernweh!

What do you think?
Which is your favorite Fall shade here?

PS:
I also wanted to share these amazing magnets that Missi of Different Dimension made with a couple of my images from the Mythical & Magical Collection!

How cool are those?! I died! They are happily living on my fridge with my growing collection of nail polish-related magnets!

By the way, the polish in the photo is Bean There, Done That, one of two Limited Edition Chicago-inspired/ PolishCon shades, which I'll be swatching for you next Tuesday- stay tuned! (Those shades are also available to purchase today with the Wanderlust release, though!)
