Hey guys! How was your weekend?
Today, I have another super special polish from ALIQUID Lacquer to show you! This is Old Dog, New Tricks and it celebrates the brand's 2nd Anniversary. So, Happy Birthday to ALIQUID!!
How pretty does that look?!
Old Dog, New Tricks is a clear base filled with silver flake, fuchsia/ magenta microglitter, blue microflakes, as well as holo shimmer. (By the way, how great is the name?)
Artificial light, three coats:
With more direct lighting, the holo shows up quite easily:
So lovely, and very feminine!
I also thought I'd show you how it looks layered over another polish since it has a pretty nice density for one-coat layering. This is one coat over Zoya- Margo which is a warm magenta plum creme:
Look at that insane silver flake!! Ah!
Formula: It's on the sheer side, but is surprisingly buildable. The texture of the base is very nice, easy to spread over the nail surface, and carries all the particles well without being too thick or sticky. Overall, very easy to use as long as you don't mind doing three coats!
